Sailors Falls Estate vineyard is set on a rural property providing a tranquil setting to have a taste of their boutique hand nurtured, cool climate wines such as pinot gris, pinot noir, gamay, rosé, chardonnay and Gewürztraminer.
Our fine wines can be tasted just metres from the accomodation villas at the cellar door.
Daylesford has a rich history in wine production dating from the 1860s. In 1892 there were 30 growers. Our vineyard is family owned, and the vines were planted by hand in 1999.
Our wines are grown at altitude [620 m above sea level]. We are one of the coldest grape growing vineyards in Australia, producing high-quality cool climate wines with high natural acidity and intense yet elegant structure.
We use dry farming methods and utilise responsible growing techniques, spraying routines and environmentally sustainable practices. We hand pick our grapes and use local wine makers
