This is our second stay at Bayleaf Country House and we love it so much we’re planning to stay again!! Everything g is perfect; the house is beautifully appointed with very thoughtful details (books, magazines, records, floral arrangements), the location and view is stunning and the communication is efficient and thorough. The house is a very special place!!

This place felt like home the minute you walked in and took your shoes off. It is absolutely beautiful and so peaceful, wonderfully decorated, very well appointed with everything you could think of and more. So welcoming to see the fires already built ready to light. Anyone who stays here I am sure will enjoy a wonderful time. Even the neighbour welcomed us as we were driving in. I would stay here in a heartbeat again.

A simply stunning property! It was the perfect place to celebrate with family. The surroundings are idyllic and peaceful. The home is beautifully decorated and pristine. So many thoughtful touches and had absolutely everything we needed.

The house was so beautifu- even better than the photos, the garden and house were in pristine condition, almost felt brand new. The hosts had really thought of every detail, with notes all around the house with information or instructions on how to do things. Would highly recommend and we will be definitely be back!

This place was easily the most magical home we’ve ever stayed in. We gasped when we walked in. It’s both homely and expansive, beautiful views, so warm and perfectly cosy for a winter getaway, gorgeous gardens, absolutely spotless with such tasteful decorating. We loved cooking in the kitchen, reading by the fires, walking around the property to see the ducks and kangaroos and snuggling up in the most comfortable beds!

We had the most incredible girls weekend staying here, hands down the best Airbnb I’ve ever experienced.

The house is absolutely stunning. Every space is beautifully styled without feeling overdone, and everything was spotless when we arrived. It’s also much bigger than expected, which made it perfect for a group. We never felt on top of each other.

The views and surrounding property are just gorgeous, so peaceful and the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway.

The attention to detail was next level. The bedding was so comfortable, the towels were plush and high quality, and all the amenities were thoughtfully provided. You can tell a lot of care has gone into making this a genuinely luxurious stay.

We didn’t want to leave and would 100% come back. Highly recommend for a girls weekend or any group looking for something really special.

A truly magnificent weekend at a truly magnificent country house. — A truly luxe country house set on beautifully treed and grassy acreage just out of town, away from the hustle, bustle and noise of town but only a few short minutes away by car for any supply needs. Words aren’t enough. We absolutely loved our stay – the house was pristine, the bedrooms were spacious and sumptuous, there were multiple areas to sit and relax and the extra large indoor and outdoor tables were perfect for chats and wine over a cheese board as you watch the kangaroos box and listen to the frogs in the dam (which has its own jetty!). And the main lounge – so special with the open fire, the large lounges, the lamps, and coffee table books with which you could lose hours at a time! It was a house where in every nook and cranny there was a little treasure to notice – so much attention to detail here and these were noticed and very much appreciated. It was an incredibly special place to stay. Thank you for all the effort you go to to make it so special. I couldn’t have asked for more for my 60th birthday celebration with my 3 adult sons and their partners.

The Bayleaf Country House was one of the most beautiful places we have ever stayed in. From the minute we arrived, we never wanted to leave! A haven of relaxation with the perfect blend of beauty, comfort and attention to detail. We loved the many spaces you could find to relax , the warmth of the fireplaces, the comfortable beds, the plethora of beautiful books to browse, the peace and serenity outside, the well equiped kitchen,… the list is endless. A country retreat beyond our expectations. We would return in a heartbeat. Thankyou for sharing such a special place.

Supremely stylish and luxury interior. Everything feels brand new, high quality and well maintained. We especially loved the couches and reading nook in the sitting room, plus the two wood fires (thanks for pre-setting the fires for easy lighting, much appreciated!) They have a great selection of books and good kitchen facilities. The view over the dam and forest is beautiful. Short drive into town or you can walk along the track that runs along the back of the property. Lots to do in the area but you might find it hard to leave! There are lights at the base of the trees along the winding driveway, a practical and beautiful feature. Thanks to the owners for providing such a high standard of property, it exceeded all expectations!

This was an absolutely lovely house to stay in for the long weekend. It was finished to an exceptionally high standard and I couldn’t fault it all. Would definitely recommend for a stay in Dayeslford if you are wanting a private retreat only 5 minutes from town.

Bayleaf Country House oozed luxury with four well-appointed bedrooms, two living areas, three bathrooms, and set in an ideallic garden setting on a large private block. The owners look to have spared nothing in updating the property. We were seeking privacy and luxury for our family at Christmas and Bayleaf Country House didnt let us down.
The team also made the house look and feel like Christmas for our arrival, which was special.

What a special and spectacular place. We arrived to a tree lit driveway and straight away felt that the photos do not do this property justice. Luxuriously beautiful inside and out we immediately started to relax, the everyday slipping away. The attention to detail, beautiful bed linen, gorgeous lounge room with sink into couches, comfortable beds and little touches throughout the house was a stand out for us. Beautiful bathrooms with great showers, lots of mood lighting and the outdoor, park like peaceful setting created the perfect location to relax and unwind whilst being so close to town. Great clear instructions on how to re stack & start the fires and set up the fire pit was appreciated as we have no idea. We thoroughly recommend you stay at The Bayleaf Country House. We will be back!
