The Space
Welcome to the chic and contemporary ‘The Welcome Paddock’. Thoughtfully designed with every amenity to guarantee a serene holiday experience. Accommodating up to 10 guests, the property features a dedicated wing with four bedrooms—two adorned with Queen-sized beds, one with a King bed, and another with comfortable bunk beds. Adding to the charm, a separate guest house accommodates an extra 2 guests accommodating 10 guests in total, and nestled amidst picturesque vines and trees. The guesthouse boasts a king-size bed and a private ensuite bathroom. Every room is equipped with both heating and cooling systems to ensure your comfort throughout your stay.
Indulge in the spacious lounge room offering breathtaking views of the serene back paddock. The kitchen, dining room, and outdoor deck provide an ideal setting for entertaining. With 3.5 bathrooms and a separate outdoor laundry, convenience is at your fingertips. Upstairs, the TV room boasts a picturesque view of the front lake and the fully fenced solar heated pool and spa. Discover various cosy spots within the house, including the fireplace nook – a perfect retreat for reading – and the upstairs deck, an inviting space for morning yoga and breakfast.
Step onto the expansive rear deck featuring a spacious corner couch for relaxation and an oversized table accommodating up to 12 guests. A BBQ is conveniently situated on the deck, and hammocks are also available for your leisure. The fully fenced backyard offers a two-story cubby house, sandpit, and swing set, creating an ideal environment for hours of joyful play. With safety in mind, two bodies of water on the property cater to water sports enthusiasts, complete with provided life vests. Please note that due to the unfenced lakes and dams, close supervision of children is essential at all times.
Adjacent to our chicken coop, you’ll find a Pétanque court – an ideal spot for a delightful game in the late afternoon, accompanied by the mesmerising backdrop of a spectacular bush sunset.
Feel free to enjoy the daily bounty from our resident hens. Help yourself to fresh eggs each morning for a farm-to-table breakfast experience.
Keep an eye out for native wildlife that often visit the grounds – as with all wildlife please maintain your distance.

Exploring the region is a breeze, thanks to the well-connected network of country roads. Opting for self-driving is highly recommended as it provides the utmost flexibility and convenience.

We were a group of 10 with 6 adults and 4 kids; we had the best time ever and cannot recommend it highly enough.

Just a couple of little complaints the rubbish had not be emptied and the outdoor barbecue was pretty dirty however once I called, Kirstie was great and got the cleaner straight out. We had no gas in the kitchen or second bathroom and again Kirstie got straight onto it and was all put right.
The bedrooms were all clean and very comfortable beds and pillows, plenty of towels which were all of great quality.
We loved the pool area with the spa which again Kirstie set the temperature higher as we like it that bit hotter.
Amazing back deck where you can watch the kangaroos and other wildlife.
We had a great weekend and would recommend and return.
1. BBQ Condition: The BBQ is extremely rusty and contains significant oil residue from previous use. When turned on, the excessive oil caused flames, making it unsafe. We had to turn the gas off immediately.
2. No Covered Parking: There is no covered parking. On hot days, vehicles can become uncomfortably warm. If you’re traveling with kids or pets, you’ll need to run the air conditioning for 10–15 minutes before the car is suitable to enter.
3. Bedroom Layout: The master bedroom is somewhat separate from the main building. The other four bedrooms share two toilets and two bathrooms.
4. Photo Discrepancy: The photos provided appear outdated or professionally enhanced. The property may not fully match your expectations based on the pictures.
5. Cleanliness Issues: Some towels from previous guests were left.
would recommend and we’re considering rebooking on the future sometime.
