COVID Booking/Cancellation Policy
In these unprecedented times we know how important it is for you to book with confidence knowing you won’t be disadvantaged as a result of any COVID-19 restrictions. Our book with confidence commitment means you have the option to change your booking dates and property (subject to availability). Or even cancel it completely due to a COVID related federal or state government mandated lockdown. The following guarantee is in place for guests who have booked directly with Discover Daylesford and/or The Weekend Escape.
Changing your booking when affected by a Government mandated lockdown
You can change the dates of your stay without incurring a change fee, although you will need to pay any difference in price.
Cancelling your booking when affected by a Government mandated lockdown
You can cancel your booking and we’ll give you a voucher to the same value for a future booking at the same property initially booked valid for 12 months.
When to change or cancel your booking?
Please notify us immediately if you test positive for COVID-19 and are required to isolate. We’ll be able to offer greater flexibility on issuing vouchers if we’re able to free up dates and secure a new booking to replace your existing booking.
If members of your group are unable to travel due to COVID 19 state health advice and/or border closures we will as goodwill allow you to reschedule your stay only.
If you booked through a third party channel such as AirBnB, Booking.com, Riparide, VRBO and any subsidiaries then you accept the cancellation policy of that platform. We will allow guests to reschedule their stay, but unable to issue credit notes or provide refunds through these channels. We recommend you book direct to take advantage of our ‘book with confidence’ guarantee.
