The place was immaculately kept. The couches and the beds were extremely comfortable and the fireplace added beautiful ambience to it. The area is quite peaceful and it is located beautifully near the town centre. The Mill markets are less than a 3 minute walk as well.
The only unfortunate aspect of this trip was we were unable to use the spa due to a fault with the plug. It was an unfortunate situation outside of everyone’s control that required a part to be ordered. It’s a shame because we were looking forward to the spa as it looked amazing.
With that said, the team were brilliant in sending a handyman to look at the spa and were very attentive to our needs before and during our stay. Even without the spa functioning we had an incredible time and would highly recommend this place.

what a beautiful place to stay. Lovely warm spot to arrive at in winter. Perfect spot for quiet enjoyment. So close to the Mill. Quick drive into town. Has everything you need.

We really enjoyed our stay, loved the location and the amenities were great – it was so lovely hearing the sounds of the birds whilst still being close to the centre of town. Our 2-year-old absolutely loved running around the almost wrap around verandah, while the fire-pit with fairy lights was an awesome space for us to enjoy as a family.
Such a relaxing and great place for a holiday – we will def come back again.

A lovely home, exactly like the photos, and very clean. We managed to use all amenities as in bbq, spa, outdoor fire and indoor fire. Very quiet and peaceful area apart from the cockatoos in the morning and late afternoon, but thats almost a given in most country towns. would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful house with everything you need on a little get away.
Coffee provided to snuggle up on the comfy couch in front of the fireplace or watch a movie. Comfy beds and great large rain shower.
Location walkable to the mill markets and in a quiet pocket.
Would definitely recommend and come back!

Very happy about our stay. Beautiful location and lovely accommodation. We were there for a wedding so unfortunately didn’t get the chance to take full advantage of the accommodation (plus the weather wasn’t great). Would have liked to have fired up the fire pit! Maybe next time…

Celebrated ChillOut Festival and stay at Discovery Daylesford. Home has been styled beautifully, bedrooms and bedding felt like you were staying in a fancy hotel. Amenities were great and we took full advantage of the fire pit and little fire pit area. We Aldi had a toddler with us and she loved it. Would highly recommend

Beautiful place to stay for our weekend away. Spotlessly clean with everything you would need provided. Lovely quiet spot but close to shopping and cafes. Thoroughly enjoyed the very comfy beds and the spa. Hosts were great to communicate with and gave easy to follow instructions. Highly recommend.

Excellent accomodation, exactly as described and very clean. Plenty of heaters, warm blankets, and chromecasts/smart tv’s in each bedroom and living room. When we walked in the heater was on and music was playing – the ambiance was perfect. Would definitely return.

Lovely quiet weekend in Daylesford made even better by having a super comfortable and well equipped accommodation. — Clean, fresh and comfortable with a lovely fireplace. Relaxing and comfortable short stay home. Well maintained. — Clean, modern home, well furnished and dressed, with all the mod cons and spacious rooms. The house location was superb -tucked away in a quiet street a short drive to the centre of town and the lake. Linen was fresh and of good quality. Bath wash, shampoo and conditioner were provided.

We are so grateful for our host making it possible for us to check in early as we had travelled from the Sunshine Coast with two children and it was 32degrees in Daylesford that day.
The house is very clean and spacious. It has everything you need. The house is in a lovely quiet location. The beds are very comfortable and the water pressure is great. There are also great block out blinds for a lovely sleep.
We would be very happy to stay in this home the next time we visit Daylesford.

The house was extremely clean and comfortable. It was exactly as described. It was easy to access but a little hard to find in the dark. We were disappointed that there was only enough firewood for one night and we had to purchase wood, kindling and fire starters for our second night. This was not stated on the listing and we booked it for the fireplace.

My partner and I were looking for a quiet, cosy restful weekend away and we found it at Sutton Cottage. It’s a beautiful home, well-equipped kitchen, nice garden outlook… we really enjoyed the environment. It’s a bit of a walk into town but doable, same with proximity to the lake for a lovely walk. Good size for 2 couples or family but we had a lovely time just two of us as well.

Lovely quiet place to stay with comfortable beds, a great couch and smart t.v. A big bonus was the huge bathroom with a twin spa bath separate shower and washer/dryer combined. Very clean with well equipped kitchen and a big dining table. Loved the wood heater it made the house so cosy, would definitely stay again.

A lovely house very close to the Mill Markets and about 20 minutes walk into the main street of Daylesford. Perfect for a family of 4 – with two great bedrooms that both have TVs. The kitchen has all essentials, including lots of pods for the coffee machine. Very clean and comfortable with the most beautiful garden.

The house was great and the agents that look after the holiday rentals fantastic. We would stay there again. The only thing they could add to up the service is the possible inclusion of a welcome basket. I have stayed in Daylesford before and was greeted by a beautiful complimentary welcome basket full of local produce. Not needed but the house is great this added service would make it a definite favorite with guest.

Beautiful stay!! The house is well designed to allow for a bit of fun and privacy, it is perfect for 4 people to relax and enjoy the weekend. I would stay again during winter as there’s a fire pit outside I would like to try but overall Beautiful place to stay ☺️

Beds were very comfortable and the living areas were open and good for interacting.
