We had a fantastic stay in this cottage which was cozy and exactly as described in the listing. While the driveway is narrow, it’s fine to park in and is the better option than having your car out the front on a busy road. On this, there is quite a lot of traffic that goes past so if you are a light sleeper, I suggest white noise or ear plugs – was fine by us who live in a busy area! Overall it was a great weekend accommodation option.

I have no hesitation in recommending this property or staying here again. — This really is an exceptional property. Beautifully and tastefully appointed and everything that you might need is provided, including a bottle of wine. As well as the usual heating the bathroom has underfloor heating, making it a most comfortable place to stay in the middle of Ballarat's cold winters.

Enjoyed our stay, nice and clean and had everything we needed for our 2 week stay. The yard was secure for our dog and carport was great for shelter from the rain and sun. The driveway is quite narrow which seems to go with the territory in Ballarat. We enjoyed being close enough to town to walk in most days. Thanks.

We had a peaceful and comfy get away at Prospect Cottage. Thr accommodation was beautiful decorated, spotless, and had all the right amenities. A cute cosy gem 💎 — Amazing place – Comfortable, clean, cozy… The three C's!
We loved our short stay here, and the host is lovely and helped us with any wifi issues we were having. I am a clean freak and I was impressed with how clean and fresh the place felt.
I have never slept in such a comfortable bed, hubby told me I even snored!
Also in a great spot, close to everything you need, including sovereign hill.
Would absolutely recommend. 😊

We had an awesome long-weekend stay with our fur-baby. The cottage was immaculate, cozy and felt like home immediately.
The location was a quick drive from the CBD/cafes/restaurants. And there’s a park only a few doors down which was perfect for morning/afternoon walks for our Frenchie – she had an amazing first getaway experience.

Great stay for two people and dog. Great style inside and a amazing king size bed. Only little thing is there is a bit of a gap under the gate which small dogs could escape, but didn’t effect us at all.

Heritage mixed with warm modern touches. — The cottage itself is amazing, wonderful touches. Heated tiles, roomy shower, quality toiletries. Huge modern oven, everything you could need and want in the kitchen. Comfy couch, big new tv. Wifi fantastic. Welcoming king bed and good storage for clothes. Modern lighting though out with some have a dimming option. The Ballarat theme with informative books and picture frames is a clever touch. Everything is new and comfy. It felt like a luxury getaway with fur babies.

Great pet-friendly cottage just outside the centre of Ballarat. Very clean and modern with everything you need for a weekend away.
