Mount Macedon Winery

High on the slopes of Mount Macedon at around 680 metres, this boutique estate makes cool-climate wine from its own vines. There are two places to eat: UUMM, built around wood-fired pizzas for sharing, and the Cellar Door Restaurant and Wine Bar, which serves seasonal shared plates designed to go with the wines. Curated tastings take place in the Wine Den. If you want to stay the night, the property has a four-bedroom homestead and a garden suite with a spa bath. It is also a popular wedding venue.
