A delightful and cosy space in a great location to explore central Daylesford. As a winter escape, checking in to a property that was warm, lit with lamps, and playing chill background music was just a perfect start to the weekend.

Our arrival on a cold winter day was unexpectedly welcoming as the fireplace was lit . There was an outdoor power point to charge our electric car which was very handy. The tree lined driveway into the charming cottage was beautiful and kookaburras could be heard singing. Wifi and Netflix is a must. Definitely staying here again.

Beautiful little house in a perfect location, within walking distance to town. The host was very friendly, responsive, and helpful throughout our stay. The host always had great communication and we had the most relaxing and cozy experience. On arrival the fireplace was on and soothing music was playing. One morning we woke up to magpies visiting us and the next it was a kookaburra. Loved everything about this place and town. Thank you for making a memorable get away for my friends and I 🙂

This stay was a dream! We all fell in love with the property immediately!
Such a warm welcome having the fireplace on, peaceful music playing when we entered and pristine space to enjoy! Surrounding the house there were so many ducks, kookaburras and even an echidna made an appearance. A 5-10 minute walk to the main town to shop and eat with ease! I would 100% go back to stay again!

We had a beautiful and relaxing stay at Honeycomb Lodge. The heating was on and ambient music playing when we arrived which was such a welcoming touch. The many amenities made us feel very at home, the place was spotless and the location was perfect walking distance from the centre of town. Would definitely recommend.

We loved this sweet house! It was beautifully presented.
On arrival the lamps and heating were already on which instantly made us feel at ease and welcome.
The beds were really comfortable. All heating options were great. The house was so cosy. We’ll be back!

We had a lovely stay at Honeycomb Lodge while in town for a family wedding. The location was perfect—close to the town centre and the venue. Despite the chilly winter weather, the heating and heated blankets kept us toasty, and the cozy interiors made it easy to relax. Our 1.5-year-old loved exploring the house, and waking up to the beautiful autumn trees each morning made it feel extra special—a perfect spot for a peaceful family getaway.

Honeycomb Lodge is just beautiful. Great location, very cosy and tranquil. The gas log heater was a hit. Kept the house at the perfect temperature throughout our stay. Each bed has an electric blanket which is an added bonus. You can access your streaming accounts via a smart TV in the lounge-room. Kitchen is well stocked with every appliance, cookware and utensil you need. If you’re looking for a place to stay and explore Daylesford, look no further – this is the one !!

My partner, kids and I stayed here for 3 nights and had the absolute best stay. The house was just gorgeous and was exactly as shown in the photos. The house was spotless, very beautifully set up and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The only thing that was missing was an air conditioner. Thankfully we noticed this before we arrived and brought a portable aircon down with us. Without this it would have been much too hot (was high 30’s for our whole stay). But the ceiling fans did a great job at keeping the house cool and we kept the blinds down the whole time and that kept the heat out really well. The shower pressure was amazing, the claw foot bathtub was heaven! The beds were really comfortable too and a great selection of pillows to choose from. The living room was so cosy, we loved the couches!! Plenty of space for us all to enjoy a meal together either inside at the dining table or outside. Peaceful serenity and walking distance to the lake and Main Street.

Our family of 6 (plus two littles) really enjoyed our stay at Honeycomb Lodge. The house was big enough to accomodate us all whilst still feeling cosy, and it was walking distance to both the Lake and town! We really enjoyed the peaceful surrounds, especially the ducks that came to visit!
