Guildford Vineyard

Set among the box ironbark forests around Guildford, about 15 minutes from Castlemaine, this vineyard grows shiraz, cabernet sauvignon, viognier and chardonnay using organic, biodynamic and regenerative practices. The main draw is the weekend long lunch, a four-course menu from chef Zack Grumont built on regional produce, with each course matched to the estate's own wines and served outdoors under grey box trees. Lunch must be booked ahead by phone or email. Wine tastings were not on offer at last report, so check before visiting if that is what you are after.
