Tucked away on sleepy Park Avenue in the Lake Precinct of Daylesford is picturesque Green Acres. A stylish interior-designed 2 bedroom, 1 bathroom home, comfortably accommodating up to 4 guests with an open plan kitchen, dining, and living area for everyone to gather in comfort and style.
Located a short stroll to Lake Daylesford or just a couple of minutes drive into the heart of Daylesford, Green Acres boasts incredible country sunset views across the valley to the back of the property and Stony Creek below. The outdoor entertaining area features a luscious green lawn and a fire pit, while suspended egg chairs and a large outdoor lounge on a covered decking provide the perfect spot for an afternoon wine or early morning breakfast as you listen to the abundant wild birdlife.
Green Acres offers guests the ultimate country escape with the convenience of a central location and all the modern comforts.
The Space
Green Acres’ central open-plan lounge and dining area offers guests a stylish space to relax and unwind after a busy day exploring the region. A large designer lounge with chaise, and an abundance of cushions and throws provide the perfect setting to settle in, while a solid wood provincial table allows guests to enjoy a home-cooked meal. To the kitchen, visitors will enjoy a well-equipped fully functional space with gas stovetop, oven, dishwasher, microwave, and stainless steel fridge. A generous collection of cookware, cutlery and crockery ensures washing up is at a minimum.
Each of the home’s two bedrooms features luxurious high-end king-split commercial beds, adding versatility depending on the group’s needs, while designer fabric headboards, pendant lights, artwork, soft furnishings, wall heaters, and electric blankets exude style and comfort. The master bedroom has direct access to the shared bathroom with a double walk-in shower, heated towel rail, and toilet.
One of the key features of Green Acres is its elevated large undercover entertaining area at the back of the home with seating for all guests to enjoy a spectacular sunset through the trees of the Wombat State Reserve to the west. Down a few stairs to the back of the property, guests will find a lush clearing of green grass surrounding a circular firepit area – the cherry on top of a wonderful country experience.

Getting Around
There is a limited bus service operating between our beautiful towns. The PTV website will provide the most up to date schedule/timetable. There is a taxi and maxi-taxi local service which can be contacted. Unfortunately Uber has not quite reached us yet.

My sisters and I stayed here over the weekend. We were very disappointed with our stay. The photos don’t match the house (only one dirty egg chair, outdoors looks very different and photos paint a different picture) you’re very close to the neighbours. We had several issues and raised them politely like a bat that we found in the house during the middle of the night!! However we were met with rudeness and understanding considering we paid over $1,000+++ it’s disappointing that we had to stay in an unclean space there were dead bugs all around door frames, stains on furniture and blood prints on one of the bedroom doors. Would not recommend staying here!

We had such a beautiful stay at Green Acres! One of the best Air Bnb’s we’ve stayed in. The home was furnished beautifully and every little detail was thought of. The kitchen was so well equipped with everything you need. The beds were so comfortable. It really felt like a home away from home. We had lovely weather and got to enjoy the outdoor area where we saw so many gorgeous birds and even a kangaroo hop past. We will definitely book again.

Unfortunately there were heaps of cobwebs hanging from the roof of the house as well as in the hanging light fitting, even in the ceiling of the shower! The house was clean however around the skirtings where furniture sat, it was terribly dirty with dead flys & build up of spiderwebs. (& a dead hunstman!)
Unfortunately on the first night we had an alive huntsman in the house (which I understand can happen) but with the amount of cobwebs in the house we did a whole spray of the house with Mortein. We removed all of the cushions off the couch to find 3 more spiders so we didn’t feel comfortable using it. The outside furniture was full of cobwebs and very dirty. We hoped to spend a lot of time out here but didn’t. Very disappointing considering the price paid. Needs a lot of upkeep as garden very overgrown. Lovely property but needs some TLC. Recommend pest control!

Excellent location — walking distance to the lake and just a short drive to the main town centre. The beds were incredibly comfortable, and the accommodation looked exactly as pictured. The backyard was beautiful; we loved relaxing on the outdoor furniture, taking in the lovely views, and enjoying the fire pit in the evenings. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely come back again!

Honestly duh a beautiful stay, pictures don’t do it justice. With everything you need and close to Daylesford, it’s perfect, 10 mins away from the lake and boathouse restaurant and cafe and another 10 mins on foot your in the centre of Daylesford, or 4 mins by car!
The place is perfect and the host amazing. could not recommend enough.

Oh my God the beds were comfortable! I booked this place because it had the fire pit. Sadly we had a bit of rain over the weekend but we managed to fire it up for a couple of hours on the Saturday afternoon.
The property was very quiet and private and well suited for all seasons. We had a very relaxing stay and will definately be returning!

A beautiful place, looks just as the photos. It’s in a quiet pretty street.
The one thing to note, there is a house under construction next door- facing the main bedroom and kitchen. It was reasonably quiet but we had to keep the curtains closed for privacy. The house looks close to completion.

Fantastic little place to stay. Excellent back yard and deck. On a quiet street which was great. Really good kitchen facilities.
Feedback would be that there needed to be a bbq and the tv wasn’t a smart tv so couldn’t watch Netflix or anything which we’ve found most air bnbs have.
But would recommend to others!

Lovely Airbnb, loved the nature view off the deck & being close to the lake, feels like you’re at a rural stay when it’s actually only a few minutes drive into town. Only downfall would be a few close encounters with spiders (unavoidable being so close to the reserve).

We had a great stay – good location just out of town in a quiet street 10-mins walk to the BoatHouse at the Lake. The back verandah gets amazing afternoon sun. The fire pit is well stocked and easy to use. The kitchen is well equipped and the bathroom has nice amenities. Thanks for a great stay.

Lots of bird life including some beautiful peacocks roaming around the grounds.

I booked this accommodation for my wife’s birthday with a friend and they absolutely loved it and plan to go again. Was clean, comfortable and close to everything. Nice private and quiet area. They described it as superb!

Just what our family needed! A peaceful, cosy stay! We felt right at home here, our 3yo daughter loved the charming backyard especially where she was met with colourful birds and a kookaburra. We had beautiful sunny weather and the deck was the perfect place to sit and soak it up. The instructions to access the home were super simple and quick which made our coming and going stress free.
The bedding and linen were lovely and comfortable, we would recommend for all those procrastinating whether to stay here or not – just do it! You won’t be disappointed! We can’t wait to come back in the future!

What a great little find this was, the beautifully appointed cosy country accommodation was just what we wanted for a hassle free weekend getaway. It was easy to find and the electronic entry made entry easy as 1,2,3… a short stroll from the lake and a nice 15 min walk to the town centre made sure that you appreciated the beautiful surroundings. We only wish we had more time to make use of the fire fit as it looked like a great place for nibbles and a few glasses of red…

We had a wonderful stay. The accomodation is beautiful, well appointed, very comfortable and warm, perfect in the middle of winter. It’s close to great restaurants and the springs/spas. We will definitely be back. Although there is major construction happening next door currently. With workers operating right outside the bedroom and kitchen windows from 8am it wasn’t the private and peaceful escape we had hoped for but I imagine this wouldn’t be an issue during weekends.

This is a great little place. It’s backs onto a nature reserve and valley so there is a bit of a view. It’s cosy with plenty of heating. They’ve also made nice choices on cutlery and dishes etc

We had to pinch ourselves when we pulled into the driveway of this bougie little idyll in the hills behind the town. Nature was having an absolute party in the lush garden that drops away from a large deck which doubles as the entrance. Huge windows abound filling every room with natural light except the swish looking bathroom with its moody lighting. Some design savant styled this nook to an exceptional level, and there’s not one bum note anywhere. Beds – super comfy. Living room – couches you can sprawl on and throw cushions aplenty. Kitchen – everything you need (we even knocked up some pesto with the marble mortar and pestle). Walk into town via sweet little twists and turns in around 20 minutes. Do bring warm jumpers and coats though if you’re visiting in winter as Daylesford is ch-ch-chilly. Brilliant value for money – we’ll be back.

Lovely outdoor space with a view into a natural gully and cockatoos visiting in the morning and evening. Walkable to town and, for the most part quiet neighborhood. The house is stocked with basics, though was surprised that there weren’t any coffee-making amenities and we only had three dining chairs, and we were 4 adults. The bedrooms had well-appointed beds but would have preferred a firmer mattress. Note, the bathroom has a sliding door into one of the bedrooms.

This is a great place for get-away. The hosts have been really helpful in communication. The house is really clean and cozy with basically everything you’ll need. Wonderful experience.
But just one thing when you are trying to use the fire pit in the garden. Despite the host have been trying to help through text, I was eventually unable to find the light for the garden so it gets really dark at night.

This cottage was perfect for a cozy winter getaway. The family room was warm and inviting (aided by the host having the heating on, ready for our arrival) and the bedrooms beautifully furnished with sublime bedding. Excellent appliances in the kitchen matched with thoughtful condiments. The view out to the backyard was so pretty with gorgeous sunsets to admire over the trees. Highly recommend.
