Worth noting that the top room is a fully open loft room, with no closed off door. So no complete privacy for that room. But all in all very enjoyable.
The Birdlife is beautiful and relaxing on either the front or back verandas
,with a cup of tea was bliss.
The toilet was also left a mess and we used the spa bath only to find black sludge left in the tub after we drained it.
The utensils and dishes all needed to be washed before being used.
The beds were clean however so that was the one positive.
We requested to move to a different accomodation the next day and Discover Daylesford were very responsive and helpful. I just think it’s unfortunate that such a lack of care had gone into making sure we’d have a good stay.
Also communication with Discover Daylesford was pleasant and easy, especially after I left something behind! Definitely recommend.
