Ethel and Elsie are two separate dwellings that can be booked individually and now booked simultaneously to accommodate groups of up to 12 guests – perfect for a large family, multiple families, or friends getaway.
The cottages have spacious bedrooms, reading nooks with breathtaking forest views.
Pamper yourself in the roomy bathroom’s spa bath, and prepare delicious meals in the fully-equipped kitchens using locally sourced ingredients from the nearby farms and vineyards. Stay comfortable year-round with the enclosed wood fire, room fans, and reverse cycle air conditioning/heating.
Outside, relax on the deck and marvel at the sight of kangaroos, colourful parrots, playful kookaburras, and even the occasional echidna! Conveniently located, we are just a scenic 1 hour and 30-minute drive from Melbourne, an hour from Bendigo and Ballarat, and only 30 minutes from Castlemaine. Whether you’re seeking adventure or serenity, our cottage, with its cedar wood accents and cathedral ceiling, provides the perfect base for your countryside getaway.
Ethel Sleeping Configurations are:
Bedroom 1 – 1 X KING BED
Bedroom 2 – 1 X KIND BED & 1 X SOFA BED (only available when booked for 5+ guests)
Elsie Sleeping Configurations are:
Bedroom 1 – 1 X Queen (Sleeps 2)
Bedroom 2 – 1 X Queen & 2 x Singles (Sleeps 4)
If you require any sofa beds setup please adjust your guest numbers. For example, 8 guests for 1 single sofa bed, 9 guests for 2 single sofa beds, 10 guests for 3 single sofa beds and 12 guests for all sofa beds.
