Good location, some issues with dust/dirt. Host was responsive.

Lovely house for a weekend away! The house was perfect, there was firewood left too which make our stay! Great location too!

The space is pretty clean and cute, but the heater generator was quite loud and noisy.

I had a lovely stay in Daydream Cottage. It was light-filled and clean. The place is bigger than it appears in the pictures and the living space has a nice aspect out onto a well-tended garden. Very central and easy to access Daylesford. Would highly recommend it as a place to stay.

Fantastic location. Very quiet street and neighbors. Easy flat 5 minute walk to absolutely everything. Just a couple of maintenance and dust issues.

I had an amazing stay at Discover Daylesford’s place! The home was exactly as described — clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. Check-in was smooth, and communication with the host was prompt and friendly throughout. We were able to check in a bit earlier which was lovely, and the heater was on for us! The location was perfect — walking distance to some amazing local bars (winespeake was amazing!), bakeries and the Daylesford Pub, a short drive from Cliffy’s and Farmers Arms! Also close to the supermarket.

Everything I needed was provided, from fresh towels to kitchen essentials. It really felt like a home away from home and we were able to keep warm in the very cold weather. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Another bonus is that you can order a cheese / welcome platter following booking for your arrival. We didn’t do this, however would do this next time for an ultimate luxurious stay.

This was our third time renting the Daudream Cottage for our getaway and we love it every time. it’s everything we need in accommodation. Absolutely love coming to Daylesford and staying here.

Overall, a really lovely option for accomodation. Super close walk to town. Good ammenities and nice and warm. Excellent deck which catches the afternoon sun.

Perfect location only two streets away from the Main Street and Coles so walking is convenient.

Cute cottage, had everything we needed although the wifi was extremely patchy.

Comfortable, clean, cosy and conveniently located property. In a quiet street, but only a short walk to the centre of town. A great place to stay and explore Daylesford and surrounding areas.

Great location, decent size for two, and it was okay value. But could do with better wifi, it was practically unusable.

This was our second time staying at the Daydream cottage, it’s a home away from home. amazing location, easy to access and super comfortable. We highly recommend staying here.

Daydream Cottage was very homey and in a great location! The hosts were very informative and friendly.

Great Stay & Great Location — Great setup in the heart of Daylesford. Property had everything that we needed and was great that we were able to take our pooches with us too.

Besides a few cleaning issues, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Close to the heart of Daylesford, the accomodation provided us with the home we enjoyed coming back to at the end of each day.

Great location! Easy short walk to the town centre where there are shops, groceries pubs and restaurants. Check out Bar Merenda – excellent Italian restaurant! The accommodation was clean and lovely. Beautiful garden with sun lounge chairs to enjoy the outdoors. Door was a bit tricky to use (need to be firm). Kitchen clean and cute Japanese doors. Overall l, great stay.

We had an amazing stay at Daydream Cottage! It is surprisingly spacious and was exactly what we needed. 5 mins walk to shops and Main Street. Natalie gave friendly and clear communication. Would definitely recommend! 👍🏻

Convenient, walkable to the shops/eating areas of Daylesford. Quiet neighbourhood. Very pleasant residence. Clean, very comfortable. Ample space in fridge and easy-to-use bathroom.

Daylesford itself a relaxing destination with interesting shops, art galleries and food. Though some of the walking/cycling paths in our guidebook (between Daylesford Lake and Jubilee Lake) were a bit overgrown with blackberries)!

There is a significant step from the living/bath area to both the kitchen and sleeping area, which might be disconcerting to some (there is also a step from the outside path/car parking area to the front door).

We had a wonderful stay at the daydream cottage. everything was perfect except there was a fair bit of dust and spiderwebs. ignoring that, was absolutely perfect in every other way! highly recommend.

Great place on its own small private block. Super close to town and everything you need is around the corner in walking distance.
Comfortable queen size bed and cooking amenities if needed.
Go check out Bar Merenda, it is amazing.

It has been a while since staying in Daylesford, so it was a delight to drive up and find the lights on, warm room and gentle music playing, especially after a cold and wet day. The house was cosy and perfect for a romantic getaway weekend. Situated around the corner from the main street, it was a great location for easy walking to and from the town centre. Unfortunately, there was no coffee machine so it meant an early trip into town to get a take away but that was only minor as the rest of the weekend was perfect. Would definitely go back again !!

Issues are no TV reception, very loud floor heating and irrigation turned on a 3.30am and was very loud.

We treated ourselves to a Daylesford stay for our anniversary weekend. The cottage accommodated our needs and was a great walkable distance to Daylesford Centre!

Perfect amount of space for a weekend getaway and was only a short distance from town! Very easy to find and gave such a homely feeling the entire time.

The Daydream cottage by Discover Daylesford was the perfect place for a romantic getaway! The cottage itself was clean, cozy and had everything we required during our stay. We really enjoyed the tranquil setting of the courtyard which included a fire pit! The cottage is in the perfect location with just a short 5 minute stroll into town. Overall we had a lovely stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again if visiting Daylesford.

We had a great stay. Accommodation was close to everything.

Good little place to stay a night or two. Glad the weather was fab while we were there too. But restrictive to have to pay for an entire additional night if you’re flying in from elsewhere and just want an additional hour two either side of check in.

Discover Daylesford’s little cottage was just perfect for our little weekend away.
So comfortable with everything we needed.
The sun even came out long enough for us to enjoy some cheese and wine in their gorgeous little stone courtyard.

AMAZING WEEKEND GETAWAY!!! We absolutely LOVED the Daydream cottage! We will definitely be back to enjoy this gorgeous place. I can honestly say that it was such an inviting warm home-away-from home, that was extremely clean and comfortable. For 2 people it is the perfect place to relax, whilst in the spa country. We loved being a 5minute walking distance to the main street of Daylesford for fantastic coffee’s and meals. The Hepburn Springs only a short 8 min drive away. The owners have thought of everything that I would want in a little “Getaway”. There is a folder at your fingertips of local places to eat, places to go which is helpful. Highly recommend this awesome place ***** five stars 🙂

Loved our stay here! Perfect size for a couple to stay in, not too big, not too small.
Bed was comfortable, the whole place is well renovated, all the amenities that you would need/expect.
Location is super close to town, easy walking distance.
The backyard is much better than the photos currently listed. It’s nicely landscaped and a lovely spot to sit outside and enjoy the sun.

We loved our stay at the cottage. It was very clean and
comfortable, and thanks to Melbourne’s odd Summer we used both the heating and the air con in the space of 3 days: they worked perfectly. The aircon is situated in the living room and you can instantly cool down the bedroom by leaving the partition doors open. Thanks for a lovely stay Discover Daylesford, my husband and i would not hesitate to stay again.

My friend Renata and I loved our stay in Daylesford. The house was even nicer than the photos and very tidy, perfect for two people. It has a great deck, perfect for sunbathing or reading a book on a sunny day, and an air conditioner in the living room. It was a short stroll away from the main shopping strip and the surrounds were quiet. I would happily recommend this AirBnB to others.

Great place to stay. The house is compact but has everything you need for a stress free stay and the bed is super comfy. It’s in a quiet street but easily walkable to all the highlights in town.

Great place to stay with your dog. Nice and central and very clean. The only issue we had was with the gate not latching properly. We didn’t leave our dog alone in the yard just in case.

The mixed reviews are interesting, so here is my experience.

A well appointed small cabin style property, although exposed and not private.
Within walking distance to town.
Has potential but needs a very good clean. Don’t take your shoes off as your socks will gather dust and hair.

I would rebook if it was the only option.
Limited supplies – so BYO all bathroom supplies, kitchen essentials, etc.

IMPORTANT Note to pet owners: there is no latch on the gate and it seems there’s no desire to fix it. When I raised the subject to management they said they don’t advertise it a secured yard.
So pet owners keep this in mind.

For the price, I think this is one of the worst Airbnbs I’ve stayed at.
I was looking forward to lighting the fire pit upon arrival, although it was full of water and wet wood! For the price I would expect these kinds of things would be ready for use.
It just didn’t have welcoming touches that many other properties have and seems more like budget accommodation in the way it’s managed.

Wonderful accomodation. My partner, our furbaby and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. It was cleaned, comfortable and well located. Halo, our puppy, was able to walk around the front yard. Thank you very much.

Lovely little place to bring your pet with you as it’s walking distance to the centre of Daylesford. Everything was perfect when we got there and had no issues sorting out heating and entertainment.

What an incredible location, short walk to the Main Street – didn’t need to use our car at all! The house was clean and the bed was super comfortable, we slept in both days! (Which is rare) thank you very much to Discover Daylesford for an amazing stay for our anniversary weekend!

The Daylesford Daydream Cottage is as per the description provided by Discover Daylesford. The location of the cottage is great as it is only a few minutes walk to the centre of town and a couple of minutes drive to most of the attractions in Daylesford.

All the amenities are available as per the description and the cottage was clean and pleasant. Bed was comfortable and we appreciate the well-appointed kitchen with all the necessary cooking utensils available.

They have now also provided wifi which means we were able to enjoy the smart tv with netflix.

Only slight concern we had during our stay was that the pedestrian gate was missing its lock/latch. This was not an issue with our dog as he was always supervised while out in the yard and has good recall, however might be an issue for others. We have notified Discover Daylesford in regards to this as well.

All in all, it was a pleasant stay and a place we would return to and recommend.

This spot is perfect for 2 people, so well thought out, stylish, super clean and in the perfect location close to the main strip and on a very nice street with some gorgeous properties to look at!

We come to Daylesford regularly and this little place was one of the best. Lovely little yard and outdoor deck to enjoy a morning coffee. Beautiful space and lovely decor. Locations is amazing- 5 min walk into town. Just right for two and our little dog.

Nice little spot for 1 or 2 people + dog and reasonably secure. Outdoor yard has a bit of clutter so I’d advise to dog proof before you let your furry friend explore everywhere. Very close to town

Great location and really nice layout. Our little dog loved the outdoor area and really enjoyed being able to easily walk to the Main Street throughout our stay. The host was really good with communication throughout.

Dog friendly, yes, but no grass for them or shade outside.
The room was okay – but I’d say a bit over priced.
The air conditioner broke mid stay but was fixed very quickly which was good.

Not enough towels, toilet paper, or toiletries, we stayed four nights.

They advertised a smart-tv, but have no wifi to use it.

Overall, it’s a great location to stay and would recommend them, but for a shorter stay perhaps.

Daylesford itself is okay but fairly boring.
