Upon entering the property, we were very impressed, it was nice, clean, and cozy. However, when we stepped outside we realised that there was no fence closing you off from the main house (despite it not stating this on the description), this made us feel quite uncomfortable as we wanted a private space. I called the Discover Daylesford line and explained what was going on, I spoke to Sam who was extremely helpful and understanding, and reassured us that the property owners weren’t there over the weekend which was reassuring.
Despite that slight hiccup, it was a nice and convenient space for the two of us during the time we were in Daylesford. Only reason why I am giving four stars is because of the fence situation.
However, this air BNB was advertised as a king bed. The bed is definitely double or a queen at best. This was a deciding factor in choosing this place for us, so we were surprised.
Kitchen is quite basic (eg. No serated knifes), so unless having toast or microwave meals, then best to enjoy the local restaurants.
