This is one of those rare occasions where the photos simply don’t do justice to this gorgeous slice of Daylesford. The villa is furnished and decorated with such attention to detail and interest. We enjoyed great conversation, wine and nibbles on the terrace on a beautiful sunny day, almost convincing ourselves we were in actual fact at a special little Tuscan villa 🙂 the view from the terrace is stunning and the surrounding gardens feel secluded and special. Using the little white gate to access the botanic gardens next door was a delightful touch. The comfy beds and lovely linens were also greatly appreciated. We fully intend to return again.

Incredible views. Stylish house. Amazing location. And the responsiveness of the people operating it was five star. In terms of service - brilliant. We loved the house. One toilet and one shower (in separate rooms which was good) might be a challenge for bigger groups. But to be fair it’s spelled out on the accommodation listing. We were there on very hot days and the air con was definitely needed but doesn’t quite reach the upstairs bedroom. Again a minor consideration but one to be aware of. I would book again!

Foxglove Villa is everything it says on the box and then some. The location was absolutely perfect, practically in the botanic garden and walking distance to everywhere we wanted to go. The house and garden were stunning, with superb views from the sunny deck. Beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. Communication from the hosts was excellent and they made some great suggestions for places to dine and things to do. We travelled as a group of friends and every single one of us would gladly have moved in. We thoroughly enjoyed and would highly recommended: Wombat Hill Cafe in the botanic garden for breakfast; Sunday morning stroll through the garden to the market; Beppe for dinner; and taking time to soak up the views from the garden and deck while enjoying local wine and produce, of which there is plenty available nearby. This is a delightful property and we would all happily stay again.
