Nice small space beautifully done. The host was very helpful especially since we couldn’t find the cottage at first. It has no kitchen which allows you to explore the nearby amazing cafes and restaurants 👌 Overall ✔️

As you see in the floor plan, there’s not a lot to this property but it packs everything you might need into the space without compromising where it’s really important. I was glad to see plenty of space in the bedroom and bathroom, while the living space neatly pulled triple-duty as kitchen, dining and living area. It’s everything one or two people might need. I very much appreciated the extra touches of big bath towels, bottled water in the fridge, and information on hand about local attractions. The old style décor was very charming, and the lounge furniture very comfortable. Do note that a very wide car might have trouble with the driveway, and navigation to and within the property does involve a couple of big stairs.

If you’re wanting an affordable, very comfortable, very central stay for 2 people in Daylesford, this ticks all the boxes. It’s quite small, but we mostly wanted a place to sleep, watch a little TV after dinner and a location where we could park and easily walk into town. We will certainly rebook.
